Doreen Foster's career as an artist spans 33-years, working initially in graphite drawing, crayon, fabric, etching, and her first love, watercolor painting.

After establishing a solid reputation in Toronto, Ontario, she moved with her family to Prince Edward Island in 1989 where she opened the Studio Gallery in order to exhibit her work and continue her work in etching.
